Fun Facts

Roman's founder, Thomas E. Cahill, never actually saw the school. He passed away before its construction but his wife made sure his wishes were carried out. For this reason, Roman Catholic is often referred to as "Cahill's Dream."

Roman Catholic was the very first Catholic high school for boys in the United States.

The site of Roman's McSherry Hall was once the Philadelphia morgue.
